Want to talk?
I’m here for you. It doesn’t matter if you’re
- Religious
- Spiritual but not religious
- None of the above
I want to be a resource for you. Let me know what you’re going through. The act of describing what you have experienced and having someone truly understand you is good in and of itself.
I am available for personal consultation on grief and dying. I am not a social worker or grief counselor per se; this would be personal one-on-one spiritual support.
I am also available for doctors, nurses, and other clinicians and caregivers who need to process what they are going through in the course of their work. I can help with burnout, stress, lack of meaning and purpose, etc. Again, this would be chaplain support. I can support your own spiritual beliefs, or speak to you on a non-religious basis, as one sympathetic human being to another.
I’m not a psychotherapist, however. I’m a chaplain. What can I do that other professional “listeners” can’t? I’m good at finding the meaning in what you’ve been through. If you’re open to it., I can provide prayer and meditation. I can suggest exercises to lift your spirit. I can lead you in meditation and teach you how to do this. I can suggest coping mechanisms for getting through a stressful day.
You have two options: a 30-minute or a 60-minute session.
