I have been collecting protection prayers from many religious traditions. I believe strongly that we all need protection in these fearful times. I am struck by the similarities between the prayers. Here are some examples:
Christian: Ephesians 6:13 KJV
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Jewish:
Keep far from us all evil; may our paths be free from all obstacles from when we go out until we return home.
Muslim: Quran 113:1–5
“I seek refuge with the Lord of daybreak, from the evil of what He has created, And from the evil of the dark night when it penetrates, And from the evil of the blowers (men or women) into knots, And from the evil of an envious one when he envies.”
Protection Encompasses All Beliefs
